One of the more interesting things about Tuebingen, is the variety of scientists who came from here and the intellectual notables who have been here. Note some of the signs indicating this.
I'm not sure if it is anti immigrant. Given the fact that curry comes from India and certainly isn't "German" and falafel is not either, I'm just not sure. I certainly have never seen a battle of the late night snacks before. They are both wildly popular.
Now that I stop to think about it... Falafel truly is an affront to Currywurst.
